FESTIVAL Wednesday, September 10th Two Seatings: Dinner Buffet: $24.95 India is a unique country. Each state in India is like a mini country, with its own culture and language. With cultural variety comes variedness in food. At Bombay we want to celebrate these differences through various Food Festivals showcasing different states in India. We are starting off with a Kerala Food festival. Coinciding with the festival of Onam, Bombay wants to spotlight the exotic cuisine of Kerala. At The south-western coast of India, Kerala is famous for its spices and has been a cultural melting pot for over two thousand years. Jews, Muslims, Christians, merchants and missionaries came and stayed, adding their influences to the region’s culture and cuisine.
The Kerala Food festival will be a wonderful experience for all as it opens up Indian cuisine to beyond the boundaries of a restaurant’s menu and introduces Indian and American palates alike to Indian regional cuisine.
